Customize Dialog, Tentative Popup Menu Tab

Contains controls to add, organize, delete, and assign properties to menus and menu items that you add to tentative pop-up (<Shift> + left and right mouse buttons) menu.

The following controls can be used only in the open DGN file (below the blue V8 icon), unless otherwise noted. For more information, see Customizations in DGN libraries.

Note: If the open DGN file is not a configured DGN library, you will be unable to use the features on the Tentative Popup Menu tab while that DGN file is open.

Setting	Description
New Context	Adds a new tentative pop-up folder to the tentative pop-up menu. A tentative pop-up folder is a container to which you add menus and menu items. The menus and menu items appear in the tentative pop-up menu.
New Menu	Adds a tentative pop-up menu below the selected tentative pop-up folder, menu, or menu item. The tentative pop-up menu's name must be unique to its tentative pop-up folder, it can be of any length, and it cannot contain the backslash (\) character.
New Menu Item	Adds a tentative pop-up menu item below the selected tentative pop-up menu or menu item. The tentative pop-up menu item's name must be unique to its parent menu, it can be of any length, and it cannot contain the backslash (\) character.
Cut	Cuts the selected tentative pop-up folder, menu, or menu item. You cannot cut standard ConstructSim Planner tentative pop-up folders, menus, or menu items.
Copy	Copies the selected tentative pop-up folder, menu, or menu item. When you paste the copied item you can change its name. This icon can be used to copy standard ConstructSim Planner tentative pop-up folders, menus, or items.
Paste	Pastes the cut or copied tentative pop-up folder, menu, or menu item below your insertion point.
Move Up	Moves the selected tentative pop-up folder, menu, or menu item up one position in the hierarchy. This can occur only if it is not already the first one in its parent. You cannot move up standard ConstructSim Planner tentative pop-up folders, menus, or menu items. Tip: You also can use the drag-and-drop functionality to move up items.
Move Down	Moves the selected tentative pop-up folder, menu, or menu item down one position in the hierarchy. This can occur only if it is not already the last one in its parent. You cannot move down standard ConstructSim Planner tentative pop-up folders, menus, or menu items. Tip: You also can use the drag-and-drop functionality to move down items.
Delete	Deletes the selected tentative pop-up folder, menu, or menu item.
Pop-up menu for tentative pop-up folders, menus, and menu items	Right-clicking a tentative pop-up folder, menu, or menu item presents a list of actions that you can perform on the selected item. Add — Allows you to add properties to tentative pop-up menus and menu items. New Menu — The effect is the same as clicking the New Menu icon. New Context — The effect is the same as clicking the New Context icon. New Menu Item — The effect is the same as clicking the New Menu Item icon. Cut — The effect is the same as clicking the Cut icon. Copy — The effect is the same as clicking the Copy icon. Paste — The effect is the same as clicking the Paste icon. Move Up — The effect is the same as clicking the Move Up icon. Move Down — The effect is the same as clicking the Move Down icon. Delete — The effect is the same as clicking the Delete icon. Rename — Allows you to type a new name for the selected item.
Properties	Properties of tentative pop-up folders, menus, or menu items appear in the Properties pane when the item is selected.
